Tru By Hilton Kansas City Airport

I liked the design of the hotel, it was very cute and comfortable. It was extremely clean, down to the smallest detail, such as the cords to the lamps being braided, I thought that was cute. The shower was very nice, and I liked the nice wood floors that felt cleaner than most hotels I’ve been to. I also liked the amenities like the wireless charger and adjustable light switches. Also the staff I interacted with was extremely friendly and helpful.

I mean, really nothing. One of the light switches was broken, but that’s really not a big deal. I am not a huge fan of Kansas City but staying at that hotel was very nice. In fact, I likes the Kansas City location so much that I decided to book another Tru hotel room at my next stop in Lexington, however that location was oddly noticeably less nice in comparison. The quality of the room was worse; less clean, things were broken/damaged, didn’t have the same amenities such as the wireless charger or adjustable lights, down to the staff being a little rude. It was very odd, just generally lower in quality than my stay in Kansas City.

The location was great! We were traveling and was located just off the highway, easy in and back out next morning.

The variety of food was delicious!

Breakfast was good, better than I expected. Everything was very clean and we loved how nice and kind everyone was. Great customer service.
