Great location, i love the fact that the hotel is build on the rock by the river and people there were very polite and helpful. I would definitely visit Kutaisi again , just to stay in this hotel but under better weather conditions ☺️

Location.

This place is a typical tourist trap. The property looks gorgeous on the picture but from the moment we woke in, we felt unwelcome and trapped. The staff seemed unhappy and busy exclusively writing fake reviews for the hotel. When we asked for a room on a higher floor (the river makes a roaring noise), we were told all rooms were booked – while dozens of room keys were hanging behind the reception. At breakfast (where we were alone) all tables were dirty, with piling dirty dishes and it smelled accordingly. There was no coffee in the pot, no juice, no tea cups for hot drinks. When we asked again and again to have at least a tea cup, the staff reacted as if we were a nuisance. It’s particularly striking in the country famous for hospitality and great food. When it rained outside and we asked to borrow one of the umbrellas standing by the hotel entrance, we were told it was not possible. We asked again. They said the umbrellas were not meant for us. Dead cockroach on the floor of our room was a cherry on top!
