Sati Villa Rekawa Beach Sri Lanka

The villa and location are stunning. Such a pristine, isolated spot with an abundance of wildlife and the highlight being the turtles. The villa team were brilliant at coordinating, seeing firstly baby turtles hatching and heading out to the sea and then seeing female turtles laying their eggs. The villa was modern and clean with simple yet refined architecture. It had everything we needed for a relaxing, luxurious stay. The food put on by Kumara and the team was superb and a true taste of Sri Lanka but also catered for the varying maturity of our kids palates. We only had time for a couple of nights but we will definitely be back for a longer stay soon.

Great position on Rekawa beach. Wonderful staff (brilliant with children) and good food. Beach was absolutely stunning and an ever changing landscape due to the strong waves. Villa dogs were wonderful. Definitely recommend local kayaking.

Personnel was waiting for me at 3:30am, welcoming me and my family with cut fresh fruit.

Beautiful villa right on the beach. Very secluded. Staff is extremely friendly and prepared wonderful food for us. We also got a chance to see a turtle lay eggs at night.

We liked everything, but good to know that you cannot swim at the beach where the house is (current too strong). There is a pool, but it is rather small.

The beautiful stretch of beach behind the garden was breathtaking. We watched a turtle nesting on a nearby beach on the second night. So many animals passed through the garden (monkeys, water buffalo, peacocks, chipmunks). The staff were so kind and accommodating. The rooms were very comfortable and we all enjoyed the pool.

It didn’t bother us much but you cannot swim in the beach. We still had a great time on the beach and enjoyed the giant waves.

The villa is amazing, design comfort, location, but the staff is even better! Priyantha (the chef) and Sisira are two amazing persons, extremely available, super friendly and professional, made our stay absolutely fantastic. Whatever we needed, they knew it before we could ask! The food cooked by Priyantha was unique. We have travelled through several luxurious lodges, but none could compete with him. Let him suggest the meals, you will not regret it! Sisira was showing us the best spots on the beach, helping out with everything and get us on very short notice request on the fron line watching a sea turtle laying her eggs on the beach just under the villa! Amazing experience, great stay, extremely reccommended!

We loved our stay here! The villa was wonderful and we enjoyed the delicious meals prepared by a chef both trained in Sri Lankan and European dishes. The staff was very friendly and the house was a great place to rest. We also saw baby turtles on the beach and this made this place even more special. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Unfortunately, it’s not possible to swim at the beach, but luckily there are other beaches in the area where swimming was possible.

Everything was simply amazing. The staff is always very helpful and the food is amazing. Highly recommended!
