Orange Cabin Inn far from station

Peaceful, clean, good location

Note: You have to take a taxi to the Kawiguchico station as the earliest bus there is 7 am. The service is excellent. The staff was nice enough to call a taxi for us to pick us up at 5 30. The facility is exceptionally clean and probably the cleanest you will find. Although it is far from the station, it's in a beautiful area and its amazing.

Besides being far from the station its an amazing place and the advantage of being farther is you get to see the amazing view of the surrounding forest. It is truly magical and something you'd rarely see. So if your ok with getting a taxi I would highly recommend you'd stay here you won't regret it.

We had a lovely stay at the Orange Cabin Inn in Kawaguchiko. The economy twin room was spacious enough and comfortable. The shared bathroom and toilet were clean and convenient. We particularly enjoyed the spacious lounge area, which offered a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji. Its location was perfect for exploring the area and it was close to the town. A very nice place to stay!

Nice staff. On-site parking. Beds were comfy. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The view if Mt. Fuji from the common area was nice. Having the option to rent a bike is also really nice.

Private rooms at a reasonable price, quiet location and great views of Mount Fuji. The nearest convinience store is about 15 minutes away, so I'd recommend timing your sightseeing with your grocery shopping before you go back to the hotel.

The bottom bunk bed wasn't very comfortable, but I've had much worse.

Beautiful and comfortable building, owners were very kind, provided additional services (e.g. bike rental, directions to local onsen). Very good value for money. Location is good for hiking and visiting the lakes on a budget. You can see Mt. Fuji from the living room, and there is a full sized bath!

Very remote if you don't have a car. The information on Google Maps for opening times for stores and restaurants aren't very accurate, so it's important to plan ahead and buy food in advance. If you go hiking, I recommend buying lunch in advance - its hard to buy food in the small towns in the area.
