Fairview Inn - Greensboro Airport

The staff was very friendly and personable

I did not like my stay , the pictures on the website are deceiving. My husband and I are from Hampton, va we came to Greensboro for a visit. I looked online, and the pictures looked as if the rooms were updated , clean, and at a great location. But when we arrived, the property was dirty filthy, trash all over the parking lot . Mold and outdated snacks in the vending machines our room was horrid. The carpet was sticky, the shower curtain rods had holes in it, and the curtain had holes in it. The doora looked like they had been kicked in . Cigarette burns were all over the room in a non-smoking room, and the smell of cigarette smoke was all in the room !!!!! I had no choice but to stay because by it being furniture week there were no rooms available. The furniture was a huge mess outdated, chipped paint draws missing . It was the worst I've ever seen at a hotel

Things were bad from the start, one of the cleaning maids walked into the booking area and accused me of not paying for a stay on another recent occasion and I haven't stayed at that hotel in over six months .l told her she must have mixed up with some one else.

After this issue was supposed to be cleared up 4 hours later the front desk calls me and says that I had made two reservations which I did not,was told that I had to clear this issue up with Booking .com.,Booking .com said the issue was with the hotel and needed to clear it up with them. The hotel attempted to withdraw money from my account at 4:30 am that morning as I slept it seem to be a scam to me stay. was definitely not satisfying. Sorry............

The staff was wonderful.

Small things. There were no Kleenex in the room. There was no hair dryer. The HVAC made a clicking sound which was annoying. When we went to bed, we turned it off. The good side was that with the perfect temperature outside the room was comfortable. Two of the three lamps did not work, but after replacing the bulbs everything was fine. All in all, we would stay here again.

No roaches-No bedbugs- no druggies.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Shout out to Ms Judy at the front desk..she was the sweetest. There was a younger girl there on saturday afternoon- I just didnt catch her name- she was great too! Only complaint was i think our bed was broken lol it was sleepable just thought if we moved too quick we may end up in the floor 😂

The bed was broke and the AC acted up but Ms Judy walked me thru how to fix it lol
