Ceylon wilpattu safaris & lodging

Our host was incredible. He was so helpful and available all the time. We had an incredible stay there. He helped us with all of the arrangement of the safari and guided us through it. We had a room upgrade which was quite spacious and cozy.

Roshan und seine Frau waren so unglaublich freundlich. Es wird auch eine tolle Safari organisiert, wenn gewünscht. Die Zimmer sind super schön und sauber. In dieser Unterkunft bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig. Abends gibt es ein leckeres Buffet.

Loved the delicious evening buffet. What a treat to try so many different dishes all prepared by the family. We were travelling with a disabled gentleman in a wheelchair the staff were wonderful accommodating all our needs.

Beautifully built and furnished homes with a great staff team, especially Roshan, and outstanding food. Super close to Wilpattu with well organised and sensibly priced tours. Recommend doing a whole day tour.

Getting to Ceylon Wilpattu safaris & lodging feels like entering the forest: the road is a bit narrow and bumpy, but when you get to the entrance you discover a very well-kept garden and very pleasant facilities. The warm welcome from Roshan, his wife and the staff was truly pleasant: they supported our requests promptly and kindly. We had dinner at the property, hosted in a cool veranda. The food had been adapted to Western tastes but always maintaining the typical flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine: excellent dinner. Breakfast was also rich and pleasant. The rooms are in bungalows in which rest is ensured by spotty clean and reasonably spacious rooms, immersed in a very quiet and pleasant place. Complimentary water bottles are also available in the fridge in the room. This property is highly recommended.

This structure is recent but in continuous evolution, it is managed by young people who do their utmost to create a comfortable environment for guests. The only advice I would give for their growth path is to take more care of the details: such as improving the closing of the doors and the furniture of the rooms: a reading lamp, a small wardrobe, a worktable, and a couple of chairs would be useful.

Gelegen in een prachtige omgeving met mooie tuin. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er is een safari voor ons geregeld en dit was echt top! Incl. ontbijt en lunch. Het eten is fantastisch. Zowel het eten wat bij de safari inclusief was als het diner. We hebben daar enorm van genoten! De locatie is overigens ook dicht bij een van de ingangen van het national park (5 minuutjes rijden). Dus top als je een safari gaat doen.

Roshan and his family really took care of us. Messaging us ahead of time with information about the safari, which was really well organised. We saw 3 different leopards, an elephant, a bear and many more animals, we were really lucky. On arrival we got some refreshments and a free upgrade for our room. Also Roshan and his family served traditional and local Sri Lankan food. We had an amazing stay.
