Ceylon wilpattu safaris & lodging

We had a wonderful time at Ceylon Wilpattu Safaris and lodging! The team are all so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. The rooms were beautiful and the food was delicious!! The buffet was so great - all local home made dishes. We had two amazing days on safari which was arranged by the hotel - the food they packed for our trip was also great. To top it all off - I was celebrating my birthday while staying and the team even arranged a surprise cake for me! Thanks so much!!

Very well maintained property - lovely rooms and bathrooms that felt very clean. The staff were lovely and friendly and very attentive. The food options were great and very handy as the lodgings are not close to restaurants as it is a safari area. Would definitely recommend

Friendly host and team supporting on the stay Safari was well arranged. Room was nice and clean. Nice walk to near lake. Food was great and nice to have a drink at night.

We stayed 2 nights at Ceylon Resort Wilpattu so we could enjoy a full day safari, organised by the resort, and the whole experience was above our expectations. The resort has such a family feel – the owners are warm, welcoming, and so easy to chat with. The food was absolutely delicious, all handmade, and we even left with a few new recipes! They thought of everything – from a great breakfast to a tasty lunch packed for our safari as well. And they even made our son’s birthday extra special, which meant so much to us. Our spotter on the Safari, Hansa, was incredible. Thanks to him we saw so many animals, birds and lizards. Everything was so well organized and taken care of that we could just relax and enjoy. Truly a wonderful place to stay – highly recommend!

The WiFi in our room wasn’t very strong (though Roshan kindly explained at check-out we hadn’t been given our room’s extension code), and the room could use a couple of extra shelves or tables for convenience.

Everything was perfect, we felt 100% at home all the time, the owner and his family made sure of that. The safari we booked was also great! Would definitely recommend this to everyone!!

Supermooi resort in de natuur! Goed onderhouden en schone kamers. Superleuke host die meedenkt en graag een praatje maakt. Je kan voor een kleine bijdrage mee eten met heerlijk verse gerechten gekookt door de vrouw van de host (dit is ook wel nodig want er zijn niet veel restaurants in de buurt). Via de host kan je een safari regelen wat superfijn is, je wordt dan opgehaald bij het resort en lunch en ontbijt is allemaal geregeld. Superfijn verblijf gehad!
