Villa de Luxe Domaine des Kasbahs

We booked a specific Villa as listed on booking.com (Villa numéro C6).Douar Laghribate, Km 3, Bab Atlas, Résidence Domaine des Kasbahs, villa numéro C6 . From the images on booking.com Villa 6 looked well maintained and the pool area idyllic. On arrival, we were placed in Villa 9, a completely different villa, which was very different from the images listed and what we booked and paid for. Villa 9 was clearly in need of attention. The inside was shabby, dirty, and needed attention. The outside pool and its situation & lack of landscaping were very different from Villa 6 that we booked. The accommodation provider tried to say that because Villa 9 had the same number of rooms & bathrooms it was comparable. Because a Villa has the same number of rooms and bathrooms does not make it comparable as the upkeep of the Villa is also a factor as is the outside area. We have images to prove Villa 9 was not at all like the Villa 6 we chose and paid for. Booking.com have not helped us to claim a refund which we are clearly owed. It was in effect a scam to take our money for a specific accommodation and not provide it once we arrived. We are bitterly disappointed with booking.com and I would not recommend using them after this experience as they take no responsibility for these types of situations.
