Luxury Retreat, Children and Dogs too

We loved our stay. Beautiful place and wonderful hosts.

The property was immaculate the fixtures and fixtures was of a very high standard even down to the towels were luxurious and soft. The location was so quiet no traffic noise such rarity these days! Mark and his lovely lady partner were so sweet and kind they even left a Birthday card and bottle of prosecco on the table after returning from a day out!!😀 That’s going above and beyond thank you for a memorable stay from Terry and Sarah.

The steps leading up to bedroom was very steep if you have mobility problems could be issue otherwise all good

Beautiful location, luxurious, stylish and super comfortable. Lovely extras and excellent communication.

Location and property was stunning, lots of little extras provided, barely needed to bring more than the clothes on our backs! 10/10.

Fortunately it wasn’t raining during our use, but a roof for the hot tub would be a nice optional upgrade.

Very quiet and peaceful place to relax

Beautiful converted barn on a small holding, very cosy with everything you need for a mini break away. The owners met me and showed me round. They had kindly left a welcome basket which was so thoughtful. I had my dog with me and they even provided towels, blanket and eating/drinking bowls for him. It was home from home and I would happily return.

Wonderfully warm reception, easy to understand information ab out property and facilities. Lots of extras included. All home comforts provided for. The ciders in the fridge were a nice touch - could make sure that they are local cider. The bacon and eggs put in the fridge, the bread, the butter, the crisps, the biscuits - Carole and Peter really have gone above and beyond. Bed was really comfy. Literally didn't need to pack any toiletries.

My stay was absolutely lovely. A recommendation would be to remember to dust back of doors and ledges, and clean mirrors with kitchen roll to remove smears. Loved all the extras but a foot file in the shower could be seen as unsanitary. Perhaps leave a list of additional items that people can borrow from a central box rather than leaving lots of extra stuff in the room/apartment. But you get the impression that Carole and Peter would do anything to make your stay perfect - so really can't complain at all!
