Finest Retreats - Rosebud Cottage

Lovely clean and welcoming, milk and chocolates waiting for us which was so kind, and even a Christmas tree. Really grateful for a lovely place to stay with our children and a nice welcome from the owner

Parking , quiet , near to where we planned to go . Great shower , adjustable heating . Private outdoor seating. It was cheap for our dates there.

No dishwasher . And we did look, even outside , but despite it being advertised we didn’t find it . I hate handwashing as it’s never totally clean. I booked because a dishwasher was there !!! The bedroom curtains were flimsy with no blinds and I know there was no lighting outside but blinds are necessary. Not much space on the kitchen worktops for preparing food or serving . The top paving slab outside the door into the property needs maintenance. The walls need a coat of paint to cover scuffs .

Good location, easy to find. Our host was friendly and welcoming. The lodge was comfortable, and spotlessly clean. We really liked the private outdoor seating area and the pretty garden.
