The check in procedures were very easy and the access to the beach was a short walk. The host was accomodating and helpful in providing nearby recommendations.

Only stayed here one day and that was too much. The facilities were NOT worth the cost, as the entire apartment had a "wet deg smell" upon arrival that was not able to be mitigated by opening windows. Additionally, the bathroom showers did not have good drainage, which caused it to pool (not ideal when trying to clean off from the beach). Finally, the apartment just overall had a "aged" look and feel and was located in a dark hallway of a complex that is currently under construction and felt abandoned.

Perfectly located close to the beach, it offered stunning views of the ocean and rugged rocks right from the balcony. The apartment was clean, and well-equipped, making our vacation truly relaxing.

Perfectly located apartment overlooking stunning cliffs, caves and a visually spectacular beach that is part of the seven valleys trail - the Praia Vale de Centeanes. The view was by far our favourite part - from our morning coffee to our sunset toasts off the balcony, this is one of the few ‘beach front’ properties we saw during our travels in Carvoeiro. The beach has lifeguards and a beach bar which we appreciated on both fronts. We loved the quaint and homey apartment that offered two ensuites bathrooms, one for each large bedroom, which offered a lot of privacy. The apartment was spacious, and had two balconies which we used everyday. Our host, Teresa, is the loveliest person - staying in regular contact with lots of tips and check-ins (if you want) to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. She was very generous with everything in the apartment and incredibly responsive to questions. We had easy and walkable access to groceries, services and other beaches (you could drive under 10 minutes each way to other beaches). The area is perfect for anyone who wants a central point to explore all the Algarve has to offer. The apartment has AC, a washing machine, beach chairs, umbrellas and towels and most importantly comfortable beds. While a bit dated, it had a warm and welcoming feel which was perfect for our family of five because you didn’t feel like you had to tiptoe around stuff, just settle in and feel at homely. Teresa even converted the second bedroom into a three-bed room that was perfect for older ‘kids’.

We don’t really have anything we disliked but would recommend an oven would be a nice addition (there is a stovetop, air fryer and portable outdoor grill). It is worth noting for those with mobility issues that there are about 80-100 steps down to the beach but that is true of all the beaches we visited from Lagos to Carvoeiro to Portimao. We enjoying the walk because the view was worth it.
