Beautiful Seaside Penthouse by Balluta Bay

Nice house, nice location, not far both from “Valletta” and “St.Julian”

Smaller problems with some facilities solved with tempestive help from the owners

Apartment was bigger than it looked from the pictures. Fully equipped kitchen, even dish soap and sponge. Great location! Little confusing to find the right building/door at first as maps didn’t show the exact location.. (Would be nice to get a picture of it and/or more detailed description with the check in instructions) Close to public transport, bars/restaurants and grocery stores. Good and friendly communication with the host. Very handy with 3 adapters to use! Also there are AC’s portable radiator, hairdryer and washing machine

Maybe not the property’s fault, but it was very humid and clothes took days to (not completely) dry. Probably the reason why all bed sheets and towels smelled musty. Bathroom could use a small upgrade- mirror was old and rusty, no ventilation and bugs. Also black mold in bathroom ceiling and wall. No hot water and low water pressure in the kitchen made cleaning the dishes a little more of a hassle. Also all the lighters for the gas stove were empty.. Balcony door was really hard to slide open. Little annoying that you have to press the code in elevator just to get down to the main floor. But overall these are just minor issues and not so big of a deal :)

Realy great value for money. Communication with owners was quite correct, they were very available, and they announced everything about entering the flat in advance. Public transport is very near and is very good conected to everywhere. Also, shops are on every corner near the flat, they also work on Sundays. Well equipped kitchen. Nice balcony. For a few days ok to stay.

Humidity in the building and in the flat (as well as on the whole island, but still....) No extra blankets, just a thin duvet (we came in January) There was one thin bedspread in the closet, but it was smelly and had some food spots, so it was of no use on first (coldest) day of our stay. Luckily, they have a washing machine in flat. Air conditioner in larger bedroom doesn't work (heating). There is a radiator, but has problem with contact, sometimes it works, sometimes not. But generaly, all problems are solvable.
