HM - Ribeira Historical Apartment

The property had everything we needed. Was handy to have a dishwasher. Nice and close to the tourist attractions by the river

We didn’t realise how many flights of stairs there were to get to the property and then hard having the only bathroom also up more stairs within the property, but other then that the stay was great

Good location close to the River. Minimal traffic noise so very quiet. Clean and comfortable.

Die Lage ist wirklich top!

Die Wohnung hatte eine super hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit von über 80%. So war die Kleidung oft relativ klamm und man musste die ganze Zeit das Entfeuchtungsgerät laufen lassen. Außerdem war in der Wohnung nur 14 Grad und es hat 3 Tage gedauert, bis die Heizung auf 19 Grad hochgeheizt hat. Das war mit zwei kleinen Kindern etwas ärgerlich.

Super Lage in Porto und für 3-4 Personen ideal. 2 Schlafzimmer und ein Gemeinschaftsraum.

Die neuen Fenster dichten die Wohnung gut ab - mit dem Ergebnis das es in der gesamten Wohnung unübersehbar massiv schimmelt.

The location is great and the property is a nice one.

There is a major construction occurring in the conjoining building. They are using jackhammers and concrete drilling from 8am to 6pm but are allowed to work until 10pm. There was no notice on the booking of this or we would never have booked. The staff also tried to time our checkin during the hours when the workers were on break so he wouldn’t be there when it started. It was very deceitful. The entire apartment was shaking. You couldn’t hear each other speak inside. There was scaffolding over the bedroom windows with construction workers looking directly inside our apartment at eye level. The staff was incredibly rude and condescending when we raised this with him, saying this is normal city noise the same as a train or dog barking. He would not offer any solutions. Booking.com also was not helpful and provided no solution. There was blood smeared on one of the bedroom walls from a previous guest which was disgusting. The staff also asked to enter the apartment at 9:30 one morning to do some small construction work. We declined. The entire stay was miserable.
