This accommodation exceeded my expectations. First, the apartment is located in the city center, which is very convenient. Second, everything is designed in a very stylish and comfortable way. I especially appreciated the heated bathroom floor after a long journey, and the bed was extremely comfortable—I finally managed to get a proper night’s sleep. But the most impressive part was the interior style, which reflects the character of Riga itself. The host responds very quickly and kindly to messages, even late in the evening, which made communication extremely easy and comfortable. And all of this comes at an excellent price.

I appreciate the idea of what the host is trying to do with such a small space. It is aesthetically interesting.

When you open the door to the unit you are hit with a thick wall of air that smells of smoke/mould/dust. This is because there is no fresh air in the unit as it is underground and has no windows. The host try’s to combat this by providing a small air purifier. The air purifier was not on when we arrived and we plugged it in right away. Unfortunately this did nothing to help with the awful air. The main area is incredibly dusty, the shelves, lights, even the cutlery were coated in dust. The bathroom was slightly better as it has a small exhaust fan in the wall, however the shower tiles still had black mould on them. The towels also appeared to have not been cleaned from the last guests. The smoke and dust and just general air quality was so poor that I developed a rash on my face and neck after being in the unit for about an hour. I notified the owner of the strong smoke/bad air smell and they simply replied by saying that “smoking is not allowed in the property”. I told them I had developed a rash it was so bad and asked if we could move to their other unit instead. The host never responded. I did not hear from them for the rest of our stay.

Свежий ремонт в апартаментах, чисто и аккуратно.

Подъезд на автомобиле ограничен из за ремонта улицы. Апартаменты очень миниатюрные, узкий коридорчик, в дверях нужно нагибаться. В общем для людей высокого роста будет не комфортно.
