The accommodation was fine, comfortable and perfectly adequate for an overnight stop.

The evening meal was an appalling experience. We had to wait 40 minutes for the food to be served and that was after we asked why it was taking so long. Every meat on my mixed grill was overcooked. When asking how the food was after a couple of minutes and I said the steak was cooked through when I requested rare, the waitress did offer to change the steak but I said we had been travelling all day and were hungary so decided to carry on. However, both our chickens were overcooked and dry, my sausage was burnt. Overall the food quality was poor. When paying the lady asked how the meal was and when I mentioned the above she apologised checked our plates to see what we had left on the plate and said she would deduct the price of the drinks from the bill which I agreed would be acceptable.

Breakfast and staff was wonderful

Easy to find, good location snd parking.Welcoming and friendly staff.

The only slight problem was our room was cold and window wouldn’t close upon our arrival . However, both issues were promptly resolved by friendly helpful staff. Some black mould in corner of shower, such a pity for a nice bathroom.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The staff in the breakfast section were very friendly and polite. Nothing was too much trouble. Booking in was quick and easy.Staff were very helpful too. Tv in room was of good quality.Towels were clean with no stains .

The room needed a thorough deep clean. The carpets were dirty and I didn’t want to walk without slippers/shoes. The room also smelled a bit stale so the window needed opening for fresh air. The bathroom hand basin tap was loose and I did mention this on leaving.
