"Brilliant large holiday home in stunning location."

10.0

Excellent large self catering holiday home for a large group. Beautiful fairly remote location, with amazing views from every window. Grounds are beautiful also. Close to lots of hillwalking opportunities. Excellent spaces inside for a large group. Huge dining table, comfortable lounge, snug and games room. The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment, made it very easy to cook for 15. Wouldn't hesitate tp recommend.

Sometimes the hot water ran out for a bit, but there were a lot of us. We had a great stay, thank you!

"Great house! Very well equipped, stunning location and great for a large party of friends."

9.0

The house was great for a group of friends who were celebrating some big birthdays. Both the living room and dining room were spacious, the house is well equipped and bedrooms are all very comfortable. We all like hill walking, and the location was great for this. The views from the house are stunning and there was an efficient drying room for the end of the day!

"Lovely house, great for a large group"

9.0

Spacious, comfortable, well equipped. Excellent for a family gathering

Quite isolated and you need to be comfortable driving on single track roads. Would like some of the en-suites to have showers rather than bath with shower over

"Wonderful stay in an unbelievable setting"

9.0

Absolutely wonderful stay in this gorgeous part of Scotland. The property was beyond fantastic and huge with massive grounds around it, and it’s totally secluded so if it’s quiet and space you want you’ll get that there. Spacious rooms and living areas, utterly comfortable bedding for utmost coziness.

The only thing I would say is there are so many doors everywhere it could be good to have door stoppers as my 3yo daughter trapped her fingers once (but not too seriously) it’s easily done as the doors are heavy.

"Perfect property for a large family or friend gathering"

9.0

Lochs lodge was just perfect for our friend gathering. Plenty of room, plenty of bathrooms, amazing shared spaces like the dining room and sitting room. Great for what we needed

There wasn’t a BBQ sadly and we found some questionable things in the bedroom drawers. But all in all it was a great property.

"First time visitor to the Lodge with few first timers to Scoltand.. It was worth every penny."

10.0

The location and the view were stunning!!. All the rooms were spacious and some of them have walk-in wardrobes too. The kitchen, dining room and the other utilities were very well equiped and spacious. Lots of utensils, electric cooking range and many more...Large chest freezer and extra refrigerator ( total 3 )were available for storage. You really wanna stock up if you choose to cook for your stay as the nearest shop for a decent shoping is in Killin ( Co-op) and the journey includes a long ( 45 - 55 mins at its best), slow and a bit adrenaline rushing drive ( if you haven't driven on such roads) on a single lane road overlooking beautiful hills and a reservoir. There is absolutely no distubance or interference from anyone. The communication with Lisa via emails were very clear and prompt. Overall tye lodge was a surprise to ourseleves and all of us enjoyed the stay very much. The water tasted so unreal.. Thanks to the great filtering system installed it was like nectre for some of us who were so used to hard water.

Midges. Oooh... They were a real pain. However they were only outside to our surprise. No precautions seemed sufficient so walking outside the cottage or enjoying the woodden swing or the magnificent lawn were a task. There is no mobile signal at all. There is a good BT wifi though but once you are out of the range you are cut off for a few square miles. ( cheap walkie -talkies would solve the problem)
