Internet didn’t work at all

It was absolutely amazing! Everything was so lovely including the cute welcome gift ! Would definitely come back next time! Exceeded our expectations!

The only thing I’d suggest was to put more lighting around the hot tub that stays on.

Lovely lodge in Llangollen! We travelled to Llangollen with our small dog for the food fest and loved the location of the lodge. Just a short walk into town along the canal. The town is beautiful and wished we had stayed longer so that we can explore the surrounding areas!

Beautiful location, towels and bedding provided. Cookies & wine on arrival, tea and coffee etc Comfy bed, handwash included etc hot tub lovely and hot. Bluetooth speaker was amazing

Toilet roll quality wasn't too great and not much of it. Some more attention to details for cleaning such as the towel rail still had dust and marks in the toilet but 9/10 for cleanliness :)

The only small issue was the cups in the kitchen were very dirty.. need bleaching as all brown inside put me off using them and have a morning cup of tea.

The lodge has a great interior aesthetic and looks just like the photos online. It’s about a 15 minute walk from Llangollen which is very picturesque and has lots of lovely cafes, shops and restaurants. A bottle of wine and cookies were kindly there on arrival.

The communication from the host wasn’t great. I didn’t receive the arrival information until 15 minutes before the check-in time. At which point she informed me to bring extra towels if we wanted to use the hot tube as there is only 1 per person at the property. Being miles away from home at this point, this was not an option. In total we had 1 towel each, 1 hand towel to share and no tea towels. The lodge itself is on a small caravan park which was very quiet for the one night we stayed however the lodge is not at all secluded so if you were to use the hot tub be aware that pretty much anyone can see you or have access to you when you walk to / or are in the hot tub. The hot tub was also pretty grim. Didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a while and the chlorine levels seemed very high (possibly to try and compensate for the lack of cleaning?). Also, the hot tub area is not covered and it rained pretty heavily for the night we were there so even if we wanted to use it and had towels, we couldn’t anyway. The lodge interior was nice however there is no storage inside so I genuinely do not know what you would do with your stuff if you stayed for longer than a night. And finally, the WiFi didn’t work there. When we first arrived it didn’t work at all and we managed to get it on but it went off again shortly after. For £175 p/night I wouldn’t return and based on the above would recommend looking at some of the other accommodation options in Llangollen.

The property was very clean, secluded and modern. It was a fantastic mini break, the hot tub was ready for us to use on arrival, the bed was comfortable.
