For ice cream frozen dessert (vegetable oil ) were kept, for juice they kept Tang and other sugar drink, when you pay for food with out questions asked then you are expected to provide healthy food and not some cheap alternative. In such jungle stays guest don't have any other place to go and have food.

The rooms and location is very nice.

Hotel could arrange for pick up and drop facility for safari. Restaurant seating maybe increased a little as when rooms are full some people need to wait for having food.

This is my first stay in the Dandeli/Ganeshgudi region and the Stone Water resort is the perfect mixture of peace and disconnect I was looking for. I stayed here for 2 nights on my way to Goa from Bangalore. Perfect break in the journey. The place itself is nestled in a forest area, has a very clean and well maintained pool with a separate kids area, a well staffed cafe where a fixed buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner is served. Ala carte is somewhat restricted due to LPG shortage but will soon open up. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. The best room combination is the breakfast and dinner plan along with the Nature View Cottage (swimming pool view can get awkward if you plan on sitting outside the room sipping coffee 😊). The place has an adventure booking counter where you can pick different activities in house and outside (water activities like rafting etc. are outside). The resort itself is quiet, serene and very welcoming. It's very instagramable if you are into all that. They have a 2 MB shared wifi Internet. Due to its location, there is no phone network which was ideal for me. Our stay was fabulous and very relaxing. We will definitely be staying here again. The staff was extremely helpful, from Marvin from the reception, Aman who helped us get our bags to the room, Pranav, Jaya, Bhumi and Souman from the restaurant or even Ganga the resort cleaning staff who helped us find the entrance to the gardens. Stay here if you want peace, a night full of stars, a nice bonfire in the night and great comfortable rooms. All water activities, hiking and safaris are within driving distance.

Contact the hotel for rafting , they are very helpful, really helpful, the staff is cool, except for one or two who dont know how to smile. The housekeeping service is excellent and also frontoffice, restaurant and even security, all smiles and very helpful. Thank you.

I would like to inform the extremely poor service experienced at Stone Wood Jungle Resort, Dandeli. The staff behavior was highly unprofessional and rude, and they failed to communicate properly with guests. Despite prior expectations, Jain food was not available, which caused significant inconvenience as my mother could not eat. We were made to wait for an unreasonable amount of time, from around 10:20 AM until nearly 1:15 PM, without proper assistance or hospitality. Additionally, the rooms were not provided in a satisfactory condition. Although it was claimed that the property is only two years old, the maintenance and overall quality were very poor. This experience reflects negligence and lack of basic customer service standards.
