we booked for 5 days but unfortunately there was a power failure across the highlands and the Abbey was without power. We managed to find alternate urgent accommodation (no help from booking or the Abbey) for 3 days until we received the message that the Abbey now had power. However, our 5 day booking was cancelled by Booking.com and we had to rebook the remaining 2 days at a much higher rate!!! When we did stay at the Abbey we enjoyed the facilities.

The stairs (no lift in this heritage building) were a challenge (52 steps to our top floor accommodation). And of course the increased amount we had to pay for 2 nights instead of 5

Stunning location on the edge of Loch Ness. Excellent staff. Great pool and spa on site. Great Restaurant on site overlooking the Loch.
