Little Munduk Villa A Private Mountain Escape

We liked everything about the house itself - newly renovated, very well equipped. Lovely small garden. Conveniently located close to the start of the waterfalls path, as well as the village/rice paddies walk. Great hospitality.

Unfortunately it was the noisiest place we stayed at on our 1.5 months trip around Indonesia. The road noise and constant sound of crowing roosters made our night sleep impossible. The earplugs had been provided. I understand this is the rural area and out of the hosts control, however I believe it should be mentioned here for the light sleepers like us.

Inviting, newly renovated, clean, comfortable. Amazing beds and pillows. Every request we had was answered promptly. We found Rama to be very accommodating and helpful. 🙏🏻

We cannot recommend this beautiful house highly enough! It is even more beautiful in reality than the pictures suggest! Rama, our host, was so attentive, checking in on our needs, ensuring we were settled, making sure we were safe in scooters in the rain! Everything has been thought about with such care. There is local coffee, and other essentials in the kitchen, a daily bowl of delicious fruit, a large filtered water dispenser. In each room, and the garden there are beautiful bowls of flowers. There is a terrace to sit out the front and an incredible, private back garden with views across the valley. It is possible to walk directly from the house to many of the beautiful waterfalls on well signed trails, as well as explore the rice terraces. We hired scooters from Munduk Scooter, literally opposite the house, and used these to explore further to the lakes, temples, and pick your own strawberries! There are some brilliant restaurants, also walking distance, and Rama can also provide breakfast at the house. The only problem with the stay was having to leave! Thank you Rama!

Beautiful aesthetics, really clean, wonderful location with beautiful views. Close to near by tourist destinations, local markets, waterfalls and much much more. Host was very friendly and welcoming, never rushed us, and always made sure our needs were met. I would recommend this accommodation and already plan on staying again myself. Makasih banyak 🙏

It was smooth and efficient, and I was immediately made to feel at home. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. The nature views from my room were absolutely stunning. The serene surroundings made for a peaceful and relaxing.
