Farm stay caravan on working farm

Cosy comfortable caravan in a quiet rural setting, with a beautiful view over the fields. Very handy location for visiting Ullswater and Keswick. Decent size kitchen for self catering

We liked the location in the country on a farm.

Didn't like that we couldn't stay longer.

The location is beautiful, set in the middle of a farm. The house is peaceful and well-equipped, with a bathroom, kitchen including kitchenware, a living room, and good heating.

The bedroom linens were dirty with hair on them, which made us feel uncomfortable. We arrived around 11 pm, so it’s understandable the owner didn’t reply at that hour, but I had to find and change the sheets myself, which was exhausting after a full day of hiking. The next day, when I mentioned it, the owner insisted it “absolutely it couldn’t be the case” and did not acknowledge the issue, which was disappointing. In addition, although check-in was listed until 11:30 pm, we were asked to arrive by 10 pm and to be very quiet on arrival to avoid disturbing neighbours. However, I didn’t see any neighbours nearby apart from the main farmhouse and horses. This added unnecessary pressure to our arrival

Rural location with a beautiful view; private; comfortable; well equipped

Good location, just a short drive to Pooley Bridge. Nice caravan that provided just what we needed.

I loved the setting, seeing the animals, the comfort and space and the thoughtful welcoming biscuits. Hazel was prompt and helpful with the booking and directions.

Stunning location and very helpful host, it was close to where we needed to be. Comfortable and clean.

Wifi signal is weak but it’s a good opportunity to switch off, however my husband had some work deadlines that needed emails sent and although he managed, it was a little stressful. Bathrooms are in the process of being updated.
