Stone Cabin on Valley View - Firepit & Hot Tub

Absolutely loved everything about my stay here! It was very peaceful and relaxing sitting by the fire and in the hot tub. It made my anniversary get away that much better! Definitely gonna come back for another little get away.

The hot tub was a real bonus.

We loved the beautiful, comfortable living area, as well as the deck with sunset views. The primary bedroom is a wonderful retreat and the main bathroom has an awesome shower! The kids loved having the downstairs to themselves and especially enjoyed the foosball table. The hot tub was also a fun amenity.

The only tricky part was the spiral staircase down to the lower level, but the kids managed it just fine and the older adults didn’t really need to go up and down much.

Loved everything about the property! Great location, and had everything we needed to enjoy a weekend in the mountains.

The wooded area with the leaves changing was spectacular. The fire pit and hot tub were added entertainment and one of the main reasons we were drawn to this property. The bathrooms are beautifully done, the bedding and linens were comfortable and the supplies in the kitchen fulfilled our needs. The view was amazing with lovely sunsets. The furniture was comfortable and the house was clean.

The spiral staircase was difficult for our age of 65+ and I don’t remember that being disclosed in the description. The lock box for the key was not easy to open so we struggled at check in and check out. The lighting is interesting. No lamps in the family room, only track lighting which made us feel on stage. We also think there is some issues with the wiring and the light switches were in random places.

The house was clean and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. It’s about a 20 minute drive from Harper’s ferry, shepherdstown and Charles town, so we had a lot of options for hikes, activities and restaurants. The house has a smart TV and great WiFi (which was needed because we found the phone service in the area to not be great). The hosts were super easy to communicate with

The owners had recently installed a new roof which was a little noisy, especially in the rain

Beautiful and comfortable. Everything you want from a mountain cabin getaway. Wonderful that it’s stocked and has many minor creature comforts that other places may overlook. The whole place is just very thoughtfully put together.

The fire pit and bbq are old school. Not a problem since we know what we’re doing but it wasn’t super clear from the booking and could be a bit daunting if you’re not prepared.
