Country Style Modern Self Catering 3 Bedroom Bungalow in Blackpool

While some people have mentioned that the home isn’t in the nicest part of town, we didn’t run into any issues though I can see why some would mention this as an issue. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the living room set up with the large TV was excellent. The kitchen was pretty well kitted out and overall we enjoyed our stay.

Upon arriving there was a lot of damage to the property - one of the chandeliers was hanging down over the bed and there was damage to the bedroom door and closet door. There was also water all over the bathroom floor. I phoned the owners as we were worried about them being unaware of the damage and we were concerned that the toilet was flooding. When we phoned they were aware of the damage and said that it was probably the hose on the side of the sink was leaking which we had to fix and then mop up the water. We felt that we would have preferred them warning us about the damage to the property as obviously this can’t always be helped. The shower was also a major issue as it’s either blocked or the drain is simply too small and you couldn’t take longer than a one minute shower or the whole bathroom would flood. While overall the stay was fine, these issues aren’t great considering the price and that especially the shower issue made it less comfortable. The heating was also not the easiest to figure out and a welcome guide could potentially help with this.

It was spotless!! We walked in to a nice welcoming and warm house. The kitchen was fully stocked and it felt like a home from home. Very very nice.

Only a 3 seater sofa and with 5 of us staying we could have done with more comfy seating

We go to blackpool every year to see the lights and this year I found this lovely little bungalow, the interior is absolutely beautiful. Very clean, everything you need and about a 5 minute walk to the sea front. Also just a two minute walk up the road is a lidl that's open untill late. Will definitely recommend and be coming back again next year. Thank-you naz ❤️

The property was amazing, it has everything you need. It’s so homely, and the heated flooring just adds even more comfort. The beds were very comfy with very luxurious pillows and duvets. The kitchen is well equipped, and the tv is superb. I would definitely book again. Location is also great with just a 20 minute walk to the tower.

The only thing that I would change would be the sockets in the bedrooms, you couldn’t fit a hair dryer plug in as the socket is too close to the skirting board.

It’s a modern property that’s been given some thought. The kitchen is very good and the shower is excellent

Communication with the owner was extremely poor. We couldn’t operate the heating and when I was provided with the standard automated booking.com message I was given a phone number. This number was I was later told out of reach as the owner wasn’t in the country. Surely better provisions should have been made for guests. What if the place was burning down or an electrical fault, there was nobody to speak to. We found this unbelievable. We finally found out how to work the heating and the owner replied 2 days later asking had we solved the problem ?? The cleaner also needs a word as there was towels outside by the front door by the previous occupants and a mouldy sandwich in the fridge! Also the house isn’t in the best area as we had children banging the front windows one night and running off and when we first arrived a fight was almost breaking out in the park opposite with some dog walkers.

Ideally located spacious and clean

Only comment is the seating there not enough comfortable seating if you decided to stay indoors
