Ghe Home Phu Quoc Fishing Village

The view was stunning and you can see the sunset at the back of the property. The shower was also good. The host was also nice to us.

The floor felt sandy/ gritty when we came into the room which was disappointing, the location is a little far out from the main town as well. People can easily access the property from the back yard as the door doesn't close properly so be sure to lock your room door. On one day the electricity went out from 6AM to 6PM. Also our toilet stopped flushing on our last day. There was also a lighter and ashes on the windowsill. No shower gel or shampoo provided either (which is fine but this is usually provided in most places I have stayed in Vietnam) So overall the stay was a little disappointing if I'm honest.

Location wasn’t good without a scooter or cab was pretty much the only one there / saw hosts first and last day!I Kitchen was ok

Didn’t like the little beach area- I cleaned up 4 bags of garbage- in the water and washed up - plastic bags styrofoam - even a large oil filter from a diesel engine! All from the locals!!

They basically treat you like family. They offered us drinks and snacks sometimes. The owner was very attentive to us.

There was no hot water, and only 1 tiny window.

Loved the location. Being in the fishing village was great, with lots of local food options. Staff were very helpful. Organised a scooter for rent and helped with doing our laundry. Also took a SUP for a paddle amongst the fishing boats.

Very hard bed.

The host are the sweetest people in the island. They are locals, and they want you to have the most wonderful experience, from teaching you how to cook, paddling together, driving you around... they are truly amazing! If you want a more real experience than staying in a resort, this is the best place! We stayed here during christmas and they even invited us for a bbq dinner with local food and a karaoke afterwards, it was a bleast! I hope to come back soon and I will deff stay here again!

Absolutely everything was perfect

Nice room, property right on the beach, good value. When our money was stolen the owner waived our rent as we had no more cash and needed to leave for the airport.

The fact that someone stole money from our backpack, in the morning we found it in the living room and it had been looted. Likely someone had sneaked into our room while we were asleep and moved it outside to search it thoroughly. I doubt the owners had anything to do with it and we should just have locked our door from the inside, the property is open door and some people obviously leverage this to prey on the tourists.

The sunset view was amazing ..kitchen to cook and also lots of icee creams😂😂

I wish it was more social .
