Lewes Heights is a spacious modern luxury home with stunning views

The perfect place for a getaway. The property has everything you need and is equipped to a very high standard. We had an incredible weekend.

I liked everything about the house. Alex and Gabrielle were fantastic landlords! We had a great weekend. You have everything you might need!

The house was beautifully presented. Everything was clearly set out to make your stay perfect. The hosts were friendly and helpful in the run-up, allowing us to check in a little earlier and check out at noon, which made the day we left calm and enjoyable. They left us some goodies on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The rooms were all lovely, several with views of the south downs.

Beautiful home, which was ideal for coming together as a family. The description and facilities were as advertised, and we felt were to a high standard. The towels and bedding were of a great quality. The kitchen was well stocked and helpful with large equipment for cooking for 9 people. The garden would be lovely in better weather which unfortunately we didn't have. The little extras offered definitely made it a great stay, and we had great fun playing hide and seek in the house. Great communication from our hosts. We would highly recommend it. Thank you.

Nothing, we loved the house and facilities.

The house was gorgeous. We had everything we needed and plenty of space for kids and grown ups to enjoy their respective interests. Endless possibilities for hide and seek in the house on rainy days while parents sat by the fire. Piano, board games and plenty of entertainment on the television and google home. Alex and Gabrielle were wonderful hosts who kept in touch and answered our questions quickly and cheerfully. Everything in the house manual was clear and easy to understand. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms roomy with great showers, kitchen was fully equipped and living/ dining spaces were inviting and comfortable. Walls of book shelves and original art - you can tell that the owners of the house are thoughtful and interesting people who have taken great care to create a special experience for guests. Gas fire was super easy to operate and made the sitting room a cosy spot for us to gather and play games. Lewes is walking distance with loads of shopping and dining options and great coffee. Behind the house are wonderful hills for walking. Beautiful spot, we loved it and would be happy to return again soon.

Lovely big house in great condition. Nicely decorated with plenty of space, with good books and games available. Great that we could all sit together in the main sitting room. Alex laid the table and left us wine for the first night which was a great extra touch.

Attention from Alex beforehand over the car parking, door key, bike storage, facilities and included laying the table for supper. Plus cautionary notes about heating, hot water, work surfaces, carpets where applicable. Flexibility over check out arrangements.

Busy adjacent roads, at times with limited car parking

What a beautiful place! Great location, amazing views - within walking distance of the centre of town, and a ten minute drive to the wedding venue. Set in beautiful gardens with lovely outside entertainment areas, the house boasted a state of the art kitchen, with elegant and spacious living areas; the bedrooms and beds were really comfortable, and the bathrooms were perfect for a full house. I loved all the little extras: a piano, book cases full of books, and even a vase of fresh flowers and a bottle of wine to greet us. The owner went above and beyond to help make my son's wedding weekend a really special time for us, his family, and his groomsmen. Thank you so much, Alex and Gabrielle! We will definitely be back for future family gatherings.

That I had to leave

Really clean and very comfortable house, spotless organisation by the host. Ideal if you want to relax. The location is convenient, out of the way but close enough that you can walk everywhere in Lewes. I really value how well and worry-free I felt after having stayed 3 days, thanks!
