Excellent location and size of the property with a lovely little terrace balcony. Mario the host was fantastic as we had an early morning flight from Naples and he met us at the apartment and allowed us to check in at 8.00am.

The lounge suite was too small for 4 people and horrible hard and uncomfortable. As with other experiences in Italy both shower cubicles were very small.

This apartment was a fantastic find. Getting to it from the airport is easy. We caught a local bus from the airport and it was approximately a 20 minute journey to the main town of Catania. The fare was 4 euros. The apartment was about a 10 minute walk from the bus stop and set in a very central location - just a a short walk away from the main square and very close to many excellent restaurants and places of interest. You may think that this meant it was noisy but this was not the case at all - it was very quiet. We had arranged to meet Mario with the keys and he turned up exactly on time, giving us a tour of the apartment. The apartment has everything you need, including toiletries. There is air-conditioning in the bedrooms too. There are small shops very near by and a Lidl and Co-op about a 20 minute walk away. You are able to text Mario if you have any questions during your stay, and he responds very quickly. I would definitely recommend this apartment as a base to explore Catania and beyond. We caught local buses to visit other areas including Etna and smaller towns along the coast. From the central train station, again only a 20 minute walk from the apartment, we caught a train to visit Taormina for the day.

Perfect location. Easy access to the bus station and everything Catania has to offer. Mario was a great host who answered all of our questions promptly. Having a washing machine was a huge bonus Mario even left washing detergent. Kitchen also equipped with coffee and a machine. Overall a perfect base to explore Catania

Showers did not drain well. But the benefit if two bathrooms was fantastic

Perfectly located. Air conditioning was really appreciated with the hot days of August. Owner provided all facilities to get in even we arrived a bit late. Fully equipped and very comfortable. 100% recommended
