Modern 5BR Villa - Pecanwood Golf Estate

Convenient because it was closer to the attractions we visited in and around Haartees

There was cat hair everywhere in the house. The WiFi was off line most of the time we couldn’t connect. The TV didn’t play the whole stay until the morning of exit. We were all females and we didn’t know that the other room would be outside by the gate and the gate to the main entrance didn’t close there was a piece missing. We felt unsafe The pool was never cleaned in order for us to use. The linen on the beds is old and had cat hair also. The towels are old and discoloured.

The place is very clean and all the bedrooms are fitted with quality linen. The host was very accommodating of a later check out, which we highly appreciated. The rooms are spacious and the kitchen is kitted with all necessary items. Entry and exit to the estate is quite simple and the level of safety at Pecanwood is very high making you feel secure at all times. The views are awesome, just off the golf course!

Faulty air-conditioning in bedrooms Small swimming pool in an enclosed courtyard with no views which was disappointing, Patio deck needs maintenance and overgrown gardens limit views of the beautiful golf course and mountains

Having enough days to enjoy the sun breaking through on the Magalies mountains behind Harties Dam. The place is stylish and situated on a beautiful world class golf estate. Such beautiful scenes morning and evening. The slight rains went away allowing us to enjoy the last 2 days in peace and tranquil surroundings. Pleasant host with no fuss. Gorgeous and spacious house. View from upstairs balcony, master bedroom, was a bonus and great way to enjoy nature, birds and scenic views.

Typically, golf estates have strict rules on strolling about for a walk. We were busy around Harties and Christmas chilling during our 3 days but the estate does not allow non resident guests to walk between 7am to 6pm, this is a pity. Otherwise, a really lovely home for family stays.

Kitchen and entertainment area with fireplace was really nice. Fabulous patio for sundowners.

A few of the plugs were not working and the patio deck needs a bit of maintenance
