"Terrible customer experience - see review"

Good location.

Had to pay a security deposit of £250 to a bank account on the morning of check in plus extra for an early check in. Have had to chase for the money back and haven’t had it yet. TERRIBLE

It took us nearly 4 hours to get into the property. Information for deposit for cleaning was incorrect and the keys was not where they said they would be.

"Wouldn’t stay again. Rude staff, car park is a nightmare."

the property is in a really good location, a little pricey but you expect to pay when your in the city centre so between 4 wasn’t too bad. rooms are spacious. across the road is the bar pen and pencil.

the car park was awful very tight corners, posts everywhere. extremely difficult to navigate. when you go to pick up your keys it’s in a completely different location approx 7 min drive away. when checking out you have to go to the car park to open the gate then take the keys back upstairs to leave in the apartment which just felt a faff. upon check in we rang the number on the booking a couple of times as we was unsure of the process and the gentlemen we spoke to was short , impatient responding with ‘LOOK just read the email we sent’. we’d paid extra £10 for an early check in but after all the messing about getting keys we checked in at the normal time anyway so was pointless. on the basis of the car parking, the faff to check in, and how rude they was on the phone I wouldn’t stay here again.

"Great location, but no parking and awful management"

Excellent location. Clean but spartan accommodation.

Awful management processes. This morning of arrival I received a surprise message requesting a copy of ID (previously sent) AND £250 security deposit to be paid into a bank account BEFORE arrival otherwise I would have problems at check-in! Despite being in an airport departure lounge I navigated 3 scam warnings from my banking app and processed the deposit payment receiving confirmation several minutes later of receipt. The message requesting the deposit was quite strident with dire warnings of the cost of stealing towels! Despite being asked to call 45 mins before arrival my son who I was meeting there) was fobbed off and told to speak to me as I would receive instructions regarding check-in. About 1 hour later I received a message telling me to go to another building about 5 mins walk away and recover the keys from a lobby letterbox. Fortunately my wife was present as only her hand was small enough to fit into the slot and recover the keys. When arriving at the accommodation we discovered that the car park gates were no longer working and the car my son travelled in was parked in a nearby car park at a cost of £16 for 24 hours. He was not prepared to argue with the person on the phone having been fobbed off earlier. I have finally received the 250 deposit 7 days later. When I asked why if my sending it took seconds why does the return take 5 working days, to be told they have 3 departments handling the process! Perhaps the clue to all of this chicanery is to be found in the presence of signs throughout the building requesting information about unauthorised holiday lettings! Not sure but I saw no one at check-in or check-out and was sent elsewhere to collect the keys when there is a 24hr concierge on duty! You decide. Oh, and I am the owner/operator of self catering holiday lets in France. That experience coupled with extensive worldwide travel means I know that this experience was poor.
