Lilys Nias Surf Camp

Loved the place, felt like it took me back into time, felt like home straight away, the family that own it are lovely locals that make you feel like you’re apart of their family right from the get go, very positive people! If you stay I wouldn’t bother going anywhere else to eat, they cook really great home cooked meals using locally sourced seafood and vegetables. Banana pancakes are a must have!! Be mindful of where you spend your money, try support the locals as much as you can, since there is a few losmen owned by foreigners that are out there to exploit the place.

The room I got on the balcony was perfect for a solo surf traveller, it has the best views of the wave out of all the losmen in the area, the beds are comfortable, slept like a baby every night with good reliable A/C

Location is good. Has a nice decked area to relax and a good viewing platform.

Rooms and facilities are very basic.

Best place to stay in nias, Beda and his family are lovely, the food top notch, the location perfect in front of keyhole and surf viewing platform was epic to check the waves. Will be back yew

Fantastic location right at the keyhole, Beda and Vivi were super nice and accommodating with gluten free/vegetarian meals. I would definitely stay here again!
