"Fabulous location, great little cottage, decor well done.bed perfect. Sofa comfortable."

9.0

Just the right size for our needs . Had parking. And a garden. Right in the town .

It was clear that contract cleaners looked after the property as the cleaning was poor ( eg:- inch thick of dust and rubbish under the bed .glasses of water from last guess in the bedroom, just to start) Broken cups in cupboard, chipped plates, saucepans well past their best. Fire still full after last use. This is a lovely property ,i feel the personal touch is missing, there was no carer in how it was presented. This was the only problem with the stay and I must say it didn’t affect my holiday. I only mentioned it so you are aware it’s not being cared for in the way you maybe hope.

Great location. Good to have parking round the back. Nice and cozy.

Not somewhere to cook a nice meal and eat it. No dining table.

Well located close to the centre, beautifully decorated, the garden would be nice in the summer. Private parking. Real ale is only 50 yards away in the Old Friends.

Despite having a kitchen there is nowhere to sit and eat, which is a shame given the amazing looking produce in the many local independent outlets.

"very pleasant, just what we wanted"

9.0

very comfortable cottage that we used over the Dickensian Christmas Fayre. It was only a short walk to the fayre and everything else we wanted. We know Ulverston well.

A bit of a walk from car parking facility to the front door of the cottage. There was little fuel for the log burner which we would've liked to use.
