The spacious accommodation has a big balcony and most facilities required for a family who wants to spend a few days in Thessaloniki. The host was very friendly. They waited for us, helped with the suitcases and showed us around. They also directed us to a private, paid parking space at 6-minute walk from the apartment. The building seems new, and the host who gave us the keys lives in the same building. The apartment is quiet, and you can get a decent recent, provided you get over how uncomfortable the bed is. The host can offer private parking for a fee upon request. The apartment is within walking distance from the centre but not very close to it, like a 20-minute walk or so. Overall, it’s not a bad place, just not worth the price.

Unfortunately, given how much we paid for this accommodation, almost 130 euros, we can’t say it met our expectations. I must have visited over 50 accommodations through Booking over the years and rarely left a negative review. This is one of those few times I am going to give one. The bathroom was mouldy. The bed was very uncomfortable and smaller than 160cm wide. The view from the back of the apartment was depressing, and the neighbourhood didn’t seem friendly at night. It’s almost impossible to find free parking. We also tried to move the bed to the side of the wall so our 2-year-old wouldn't fall out of bed. Turns out there is an old mattress and some dusty wood under the bed. We couldn’t move the bed. Our son also fell out of bed that night and bruised his head.

The location, the apartment itself, the huge terrace! There was a private parking in 2 minutes from the building!
