Georgian Townhouse - Garden Oasis Whitby

Very spacious with large lounge/dining area, separate breakfast table in kitchen plus nice outdoor garden setting with table and chairs. Very well-equipped kitchen and supplies. Lots of useful and detailed information provided by host. Great bathtub and nice big queen size bed and spacious bedroom with loads of storage everywhere. Once car parked no need to use it again as walking distance to all Whitby attractions and bus station for Scarborough and train station.

While provision of the 4-day free parking pass for the W-Zones was fantastic, as foreigners it was not obvious to us in the heat of trying to find a rare empty car bay that the W-Zone could change to a H-Zone within 5 yards on the same street. Consequently we received two £50 parking tickets on two consecutive days for parking without a valid disc. Suggest adding a further warning to guest information that every sign near the car should be checked to ensure zone hasn’t changed. Also the front door became harder to unlock every time we used it so needs checking.

This is a very comfortable flat with good access to the centre of Whitby. Well furnished with everything. The property is part of a very impressive and elegant building.

Parking is tricky - but this applies to everywhere in the town. I used the long stay public car by the harbour which worked fine for me, but it might not suit everyone.

Good location

Location for the town was good.

A long walk through the house to drop my luggage. Once in though it was very comfortable

There was a severe lack of parking options nearby
