The Granary, Barwick

Views were stunning, peaceful location, walks right on the doorstep and relaxing in a comfortable place. Great to relax in the lovely bath.

The Granary is picture perfect with lovely interior design. Jo took time out to give a personal approach to our experience whilst we were flat hunting in the area. In a great location, equipped with everything you need, warm and doggy friendly. We did lovely walks around the village. I personally enjoyed sitting in the armchair looking through the gable window at Jo’s sheep every evening.

Had a lovely stay at the granary. Couple of points we noted - heater wasn’t working in main bedroom but thankfully it was warm enough outside that it didn’t cause too much of an issue otherwise I’m sure if we told the owners they would have come to look at it. Lots of cobwebs everywhere which is hard to maintain in a large farm building. Cutlery and crockery in the cupboards did need a quick clean before using and was lacking a flying pan. My main point would have been the beds which we all found quite uncomfortable. Lots of springs digging in to my ribs and all quite sunken in the middle. They could do with some good foam mattress toppers as a minimum or a full replacement. Also a suggestion would be to supply just a small bottle of milk in the fridge for people to use on arrival. But we still enjoyed our stay.
