Cozy Chicago Apartment next to the River

Comfy and close to plenty of food!

Nice place. Clean. Comfy. Snacks and coffee.

The toilet paper was really rough so we bought our own. And the shower head in the master bath was a little too high to adjust for a 5' 7" person and it wouldn't stay in place for the center of the shower. Wouldn't tighten up and started falling apart so we didn't mess with it anymore. But it's a nice shower, itself.

Convenient location - 15 mins uber from the center. Quite neighborhood. Nice and clean apartment. All amenities

Very cute and cozy. Good location about a 5 minute walk from public transit stops so you can easily travel throughout the city.

It was just a tad too warm. A couple of my friends were sleeping in the front bedroom and they were very hot in there and their sheets were essentially wet with how much they were sweating. Other than that it’s great!

The place was incredibly clean and tidy. The host's are very particular about some things, can be restrictive if you have a problem with it - but in my opinion just makes the place really great and reliable to stay.

The location was really good as it was only a short walk to the nearest Loop network train station. It was very quiet, so great at night, and had some lovely views of the nearby river and the city skyline in the distance. The attention to detail and little welcoming touches that the owners had put into the apartment were amazing. It felt better than a home-from-home.

I was surprised, given the standard of decor and other arrangements, that the shower fitting leaked so that water ran down the shower wall. However, I put this down to a building problem and not an owner problem. That was my only concern.

They were very clean, communicative, and informative on what was needed for us to enjoy the time of our stay. It felt like a home away from home. There was even enough spaces for parking considering we stayed in Chicago!
