Lee's Charm Homestay

Words are not enough to describe my amazing stay at Lee's Charm Homestay. The host is a wonderful black hmong family and their house is so cosy, comfortable and peaceful. The location is breathtaking. The food is so local, so good! Breakfast is included and the family can cook delicious lunch and dinner for you. I had the pleasure to share the meals with them. It was hard to leave this piece of Paradise, but I'll definitely go back. Do not miss this unique homestay!

The family were so lovely and the property was immaculate! I would recommend this homestay to everyone if you don’t mind being a little bit further out of town. We loved our stay here and were gutted we couldn’t stay longer!

There is nothing to dislike!

My month-long stay was exceptional, thanks to the incredibly caring hosts. The couple always ensured my comfort, consistently checking in and making me feel truly at home. Their warmth and genuine hospitality transformed what could have been just a simple accommodation into a memorable experience. They were always attentive, kind, and made sure I was okay throughout my entire stay. Their thoughtfulness and concern created an atmosphere of true comfort and security. I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a truly welcoming and supportive living environment.

I stayed here in early March for 4 nights. I loved the rural location. It is about a 30 minute taxi ride from the Sapa bus stop. The rooms are very clean, nicely decorated and the breakfast was good. I wasn’t sure how the bathroom sharing would be but it was fine. 2 big bathrooms and only about 5 bedrooms. I met a gal at the homestay and we did some hiking through the villages, bamboo forest and terraced rice fields. My advice is to bring warm clothes, it was very cold and damp. If you’re looking for quiet, this is the place! Also loved Le Restaurant, a short walk up the road- lovely people.

Run by a lovely family, host was very friendly and responsive to communication, easily helped us arrange a motorbike rental on short notice. All the meals we ate there were delicious and very affordable price. The bed was super comfy, wifi was great, and the house itself is beautiful with nice decorations. And of course the view was amazing!

The shared bathrooms did not get cleaned during the 4 days we stayed, there were still towels and garbage leftover from the people who checked out before we arrived (although we were there over the Tet holiday so this may not be typical). The walls are very thin so we could hear everything from the room next door. The path leading down to the homestay was very steep which may be an issue if you have big luggage or mobility problems.
