Mykonos Seaview Nests - Tourlos Getaways

The view was spectacular, the huge patio overlooking the new port left us speechless! As we travel a lot and on a budget, we look for authenticity, not for posh or sterile minimalist hotels. This place was an example of cozy simple living, with beautiful tiles on the floor and built in wardrobes. The kitchen was equipped with basic utensils, an oven and a kettle, but we ordered takeaway from a nearby “Streat food”. The double bed was not as comfy as the single bed, which we did not use, but it was ok for one night as we needed to have a rest before catching a ferry the next morning.

We knew the apartments would be on a hill. It was not an issue as we travel light. If you have a large/ heavy suitcase, and you take the bus from the airport like us, then choose a different place, as the road uphíll is rather bumpy. The main road has no pavement, so it was a bit challenging with traffic passing by to reach the port/ bus stop. But again it was ok for our one night. Some cushions would make the beautiful terrace a bit cosier :-)

Really cute apartment located very close to the port, which is exactly why we chose it as only there for a brief one night stay.

Per quello di cui avevamo bisogno (una notte) è stata una buona soluzione. Molto vicino al porto nuovo, raggiungibile a piedi. Alcuni bar e supermarket nelle vicinanze e fermata bus per il centro.
