The balcony! Amazing location and view, easy walk to town and the cute public beach. The host was super sweet, had great recommendations and responded quickly to all questions. The apartment is fully equipped and amazing in every way. Bellano and this apartment was a great choice. We hope to come back!

Very, very clean and tidy apartment in a great location. Apartment has amazing views over Lake Como with a very cute balcony. Provided with water and a few treats, which was really nice. Alessia was lovely, communicated using Whatsapp, met us for check in and checkout at a time to suit us, and made sure we were comfortable. Great location for catching the ferries to Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio. This apartment in Bellano is a great place to stay.

The location and the extensive lakes view are wonderful and exceptional. The balcony, with table and 2 chairs, is over the lake, which is where we ate late breakfasts and evening dinner meals long into the June twilight. No restaurant can compete against this setting if you are willing to buy food at the supermarket and cook you own meals. Even in the light, warm June rain, the balcony above acted as an umbrella, so we did not get wet. The apartment is located on an attractive lake promenade quite close to Bellano centro, and the boat dock. The road from Dervio was inland, just behind the building, had a curve, so cars went slowly. Vehicle noise was not noticeable with the bedroom and bathroom windows shut. Between you and the lake are no cars, no paths, no people, nothing. Only a private villa or deluxe hotel can offer this. Bellano is located further up the lake and was less touristed than Varenna, Bellagio, Mennagio, or Tremezzo. But there are good boat, train, and bus connections. We could not have found a better apartment and will try to rent it again, next year, as long as it is available and in our price range.

The grand view to the west, over the lake and mountains, would receive a lot of sun in July and August. So the exposure might be very warm and humid during the midday. The apartment had major air conditioning to deal with this. We never used it because we were there in early June and the outside temperature was perfect, with light overcast and a little rain. The local restaurants hated the rain, with a little wind, since it drove customers away. But for us, the lakeside balcony made the stay wonderful.

Paula, Roberto and their daughter Alessia (Alicia) were the best hosts we experienced.They were so kind and warm during our arrival and welcome. We got lost and they kept checking to ensure that we were okay. We arrived way beyond their and our expected time. And they waited fir us patientky. And when we arrived they very warmly greeted us. It would not fair if I expect better hosts. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone who comes to Lake Como stay at their apartment. Best view too.
