No storage for clothes or stand for suitcases

Отличная локация, рядом с буддийской храмом, в который рекомендую сходить. Есть большой молл, где есть супермаркет, ресторанный дворик. В комнате было чисто, есть шампунь и гель для душа, кондиционер. Отличный вариант для короткого пребывания. При оплате картой берут небольшую комиссию.

I particularly liked the very friendly and helpful staff. Sumith and his work deserve special mention! He is a very enthusiastic and hard-working man who made my stay very pleasant. Thank you very much, Sumith, stay as you are! <3 We will definitely see each other again. The lady in the office was available any time to answer any questions and took care of everything, whether it was breakfast or the transfer to the next accommodation. A very nice and helpful lady!

Sumith was really friendly and helpful. The room was as expected and clean,.There had been 2 complomemtary bottles of water in the room.

Ein sehr sauberes Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und einem kleinen, hübschen Balkon. Das sehr gute Frühstück wurde auf der Dachterrasse des Hauptgebäudes mit einem atemberaubenden Blick über die Stadt serviert. Das Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Im Zimmer gab es keinen Kühlschrank. Zwar wurde mir einer besorgt, aber er war nicht gut zugänglich, sodass ich das Personal bitten musste, etwas daraus zu holen. Für die drei Tage, die ich dort verbrachte, war das kein Problem, aber bei einem längeren Aufenthalt hätte ich mir einen Kühlschrank gewünscht, wenn nicht im Zimmer, dann zumindest in unmittelbarer Nähe.

The best thing about City Stay By Sunrise is definitely the location – super close to the city center and the City Centre mall, which made everything really convenient (shopping, food, transport all within walking distance). It has good air-conditioning, which is a lifesaver in Colombo's heat, and the price felt reasonable compared to many other expensive places in the city. For a quick one-night stopover, it worked well and we were happy with that part.

The room is really small – barely enough space to open our suitcases properly without bumping into everything. It would have been nice to have a mini-fridge too (especially useful in hot weather for water/snacks). Some of the furniture and fittings feel a bit old and worn out – hopefully they’ll do some updates and renovations soon to freshen things up. Overall, it’s fine for just one night if you’re mainly using it as a base to explore Colombo, but not ideal for longer stays or if you need more space/comfort.

Spacious, big toom with nice terrace. Quiete: you feel like living in a small villade. Area: next to Gangaramaya Temple and shopping centre with restaurants and groceries. Next to big park. Lots of tuctuc's around. Great personel, helpfull
