Overall, the apartment was fine and there was enough space for our luggage. The location was really great - very close to the city centre with many restaurants nearby.

I felt like the whole process was very complicated. I received lots of messages before we arrived (sometimes also the same multiple times) about when is our flight and when we are arriving. The communication was not only via Booking but also via a Whatsapp Group. Furthermore, they asked for a deposit of 250 Euros, which is not mentioned at all on Booking so it seemed a bit shady to us. We agreed to block the amount on our card and in the end everything turned out fine - the amount was released one week after we left. However, it would have been nice to know that before booking the property. The overall check in was a bit chaotic since we arrived early in the morning. When I asked via Booking if it possible to leave our luggage at the property I was told it's no problem but when we arrived it wasn't possible. We then assumed that we can check in at the given time of 3 pm. However, when I texted that we are heading towards the property nobody reacted so I had to call them just to find out that we can only check in at 4 pm, which was very annoying - especially after asking us multiple times when we will be arriving and because we did not get any information but had to ask ourselves. Furthermore, we only had 1 towel per person for 5 nights. If we wanted another one we had to pay 2 Euros, which is not a lot but still it would be a nice gesture to get them changed when you stay longer. The bathroom also had a really weird smell.

De ligging is ideaal. Midden in het centrum. Hierdoor is het wel echt heel gehorig. Het bed lag heerlijk en er is een goede bank om op te kunnen relaxen.

Door dat er ergens anders gasten te laat waren. Moesten wij 1.5 uur op inchecken wachten. Er was wel goed contact met de locatie maar als je moe bent wil je gewoon naar bed. Het contact met de locatie was veel. Vooral vooraf stuurde ze veel berichten met lappen tekst en informatie. Dit was niet nodig geweest. Verder was er super veel opbergruimte, was het meubilair nieuw maar goedkoop maar brandschoon, we miste ook wat basis dingen. Zoals wat zout, peper, olie, meer wc papier.

Carolina met us when we arrived. Checkin was easy. Finding the parking was a little tricky at first but we managed. The apartment was clean and just right for the two of us. We were right in the heart of Funchal and were able to walk to stores and restaurants.

Lovely apartment with a fully kitted kitchen. Perfect for 2 people. Great central location in Funchal. Lots of fab recommendations from the hosts!

L’emplacement de l’appartement est très bien. On peut faire tout le centre historique à pieds. Propre. Le lit était confortable.

Appartement très mal insonorisé. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans la rue comme si on y était. Salle de bain minuscule Même pas un torchon pour essuyer la vaisselle ni d’égouttoir. Pas de place pour mettre le sèche linge si on fait tourner la machine à laver Quelques dosettes de café mais aucune attention de bienvenue comme un petit set de salle de bain ou autre (gâteau, poncho ou madère…) La TV est là pour la déco sauf si vous avez des codes Netflix à renseigner…
