The Avenue Hotel Ltd

Lovely welcome from Howard who recognised us. He also assured us that we could order dinner and it would be ready for us at 5pm when the restaurant opened - and it was! This worked well for us as we needed to leave early evening for a football match. We had a lovely room, spacious beds and a great view of the Blackburn Rovers Training ground. A fantastic stay and we will be back again! Oh and both dinner and breakfast were delicious :-)

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Easy check in and out. Happy, smiley and engaging staff even at a late time. Things to know about were explained well and being shown to my room instead of just being given instructions was a lovely touch. Having a hotel entrance separate to avoid the main bar and reception area is so subtle that it should inspire others. Room was quiet and comfy, lovely and warm and with large bed. Huge! I also had a large bathroom with good clean fluffy towels. If you can, please opt for the cooked "Full English" breakfast. It was really good. 👌 Proper sausages and bacon. The continental breakfast had loads of options, fruits, cereals and pastries. Also, good hot coffee. I wanted a treat from the busy, and it sits in a lovely Ribble Valley country setting making it a lovely base for exploring. It can host weddings and functions too, so if any guests are wary of staying. Don't be. Book.

Small and comfy hotel, with a popular bar used by the friendly locals, can be busy with young lads who are at Blackburn Fc academy. Tasty small food menu, top pizzas, all fresh made. All staff very friendly @ helpful. Good secure car park, hotel is within housing estate which has barrier & security.
