Very nice big flat close to the city centre. Free parking just a few hundred meters away. Very very friendly host. Also ideal for exploring the region. I would repeat it without hesitation.

Mammoth loft apartment in a historic building above a student employment agency. We were allowed to place our bags early, which was a great help. Consisted of a big bedroom connected to a sitting room by a spacious corridor, all well-decorated and clean. Great value given the quality of lts large space. Leeuwarden was a great base for exploring Friesland. Responsive and attentive host.

Given that we travelled everyday to and from the train station, the 20min+ walk became a slight annoyance, although it was close enough to city sights. WiFi only seemed to work in the sitting room, then crashed on the final night (which did not really affect us) before being restored to all rooms the next morning.

Conveniently located close to the city center, the property was housed in an old, charming building. Initially, there was a double booking, but the owner was very accommodating and offered a significant discount. Liked the fact that they put up a Christmas tree! Btw The beds were excellent, possibly Hastens or a similar high-quality brand.

The bed was a bit soft for our liking. Parking is not free (as according to booking.com it should be) - bute a garage is quiet near and not very expensive.
