SAKURA Stay FUKUOKA2

Good small apartment for a short stay in Fukuoka. We liked that it is not in a touristic place but still 30-45min from everything via the excellent subway or bus network. Washing machine and space to dry clothes on the balcony.

Not enough space in the loft for 2 futons. Luckily my youngest kid was still small enough to fit with 2/3 length but definitely not possible to sleep 4 adults. Tiny kitchen with no basic cooking ingredients (salt, oil, etc).

We have received very good instructions about how to get to the place and services available in the near vicinity. Very helpful information.

The ladder to the upper bed was a little bit wobbly.

Place has everything that you need for a stay, futons are very comfortable, cooking materials, AC and fan so we didn't feel discomfort during summer. Internet is super fast and good reception, there are signs around the house as general manners to follow and how to separate garbage, please be mindful of neighbours, they are very respectful and quiet and expect the same back. There are two big supermarkets, a vegetable stall and several convenience stores close by, train is less than 15min walking and 25min ride to Tenjin, is close to the university but the whole area is super quiet. Recommended if you are looking for a quiet place close enough to the city.
