Sea Veiws Russell

Beautiful views, friendly considerate hosts ensured I had what I needed. Quiet location a few km from town (not walkable to shops), lots of Tui and other birds singing. Nice deck, floor-to-ceiling windows, barely heard the owners upstairs (a few rare footsteps). Felt like my own place. I recommend the short boat ride to Urupukapuka Island. Beautiful peaceful place with many tracks for tramping, great views. Also Waitangi is interesting. The cultural and historical presentations are worthwhile and the museum is informative.

Might’ve been nice to be more walkable (there is one vineyard/pizza restaurant about 2km away) but then you wouldn’t have the quiet, the native trees, the singing birds, the spectacular views. But town is only a 10 minute drive and I think there’s a passenger ferry to Paihia also. So I won’t say I didn’t like that about it. It was what I was looking for. I was very happy with the place.

The view was amazing . The unit was very well appointed . The owner is lovely and very helpful.

It was a bit smaller than I imagined. And didn’t realise it was under someone’s house. Having said that, it was very private, very clean and very well appointed and perfect for 2 people.

Amazing location with views over the Bay to Russel township. Our hosts Jane and Graeme were so friendly and helpful with every need attended to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Das Appartement liegt rd. 7-8 Autominuten von Russell entfernt auf einem Hügelzug mit einer traumhaften Aussicht. Sehr gut eingerichtet; sehr sauber! Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich. Es war einfach perfekt!

L’accueil très chaleureux par Jane . La vue exceptionnelle depuis la terrasse et depuis l’intérieur ! Appartement très propre, très agréable et bien aménagé. Nous voyageons beaucoup et depuis longtemps, c’est la plus belle vue que nous ayons eue !! N’hésitez pas,vous serez ravis !

The views from the unit are exceptional. Hosts are super friendly. Quality of linen, consumables etc of very good quality.

It's a bit of a drive from town. Unit was a bit small. The cooking range was a bit troublesome, but there was a brand new webber available - so overall it was all good.
