Garden in the center

Everything was just perfect for my autumn stay from the first contact with my host Marin. The location ,just off Marmontova St . Is excellent for access to the Riva and other parts of town . Taxis, in this pedestrian only street , can drop off very close by. It is also near to lovely bars and restaurants and is close to the Diocletian Palace . The apartment is on the first floor of the building so less steps to access the property than in many other advertised properties. The apartment is newly refurbished with quality fittings , with a brand new kitchen . The bed and linen is very comfortable ; there is a constant and plentiful supply of hot water and the new shower is of a good size and functions easily .There is a lovely living room with 2 sofa beds , a new dining table and tv . The building is a long standing former home of the family and it and its guests are looked after with care. Wi-Fi is consistent and functions well. A small outdoor garden is in the process of being upgraded . The property is very, very quiet indeed whilst I was there in the autumn season . I fully intend to return .

The location was perfect. The garden was ideal for sitting in the shade and enjoying a gelato. The hosts were phenomenal. They went above and beyond to accommodate my request to stay longer. I couldn't ask for more. I wish them all the best of success.

Excellent location. We loved having a garden.

The hoste is extremely helpful, did more than a simple introduction to us. We appreciate the entire experience as a wonderful example. Location is close to all the site, the garder is a plus to spend some times there. Also our apartment was super nice.

The proximity to the old town and nice restaurants. The garden was nice to sit in for a drink before going out for dinner. The bed was very comfortable and there was no noise at night if you kept the windows closed and the quiet aircon on in the bedroom. Powerful shower and good size fridge/freezer.

Cooking facilities were limited but we ate out all the time apart from breakfast and we had snack lunches in the garden a couple of times.

Although at the heart of the bustling centre of Split, the street noise at night from the bars and club were hardly heard. And neither during the day from the nearby shops & restaurants. The apartment is very spacious for just 1 double bedroom. The garden is a real haven to relax or people watch on the pedestrian shopping area 2 floors below. And the fountain that spills from the garden wall into the huge pot in Via Montova below. Very refreshing!

The cooking facility is rudimentary and the shower area fills with water and can over spill. Call to owner needed. And the electrics tripped out once. To be expected from an older building
