The door code was a bit of a problem, but when I phoned the host for help he responded immediately.

"The apartment was nice but our requests weren't met and access instructions incorrect."

We requested for the sofa bed to be made up or either one of the double rooms to be switched to two singles. We had confirmation from booking.com that our request was accepted but when we arrived, it was not done and we had to figure out how the sofa bed worked. When we arrived, the text message and email from booking.com stated an entry code to the apartment building which was correct but no matter how many times we tried, the code to access the apartment didn't work. We tried ringing/ texting both contact numbers supplied on the email and text message and both didn't work/ weren't recognised as correct phone numbers. In the end, we tried the same code as the main door entry and it worked. Very frustrating given a long day travelling.
