Narafa's Guest House

Nice guest house in Amlapura. Good size room. Bed comfortable. Pillows good. Towels great. Wifi good. Shower pressure good. Sometimes warm or cool. Aircon good. Parking on property for cars and bikes. Nice Lilly water garden. Staff very nice. About 5 min drive to main street.

Older but relatively peaceful guesthouse that is pretty close to town but located in a quiet area. Plenty of parking space for motorbikes, large room, comfortable bed, and the WiFi also worked fine. That said, there are clearly some renovations that are needed.

The manager was friendly but she woke us up multiple times in the morning from laughing and chatting with various guests on the terrace area by our room, and their cat was sweet but also kept meowing loudly at night trying to get into our room. The rooms don't have any soundproofing and are very close to each other so you can hear any noises outside. The bathroom was barely acceptable, with stains all over and a toilet with several cracks held together by tape, and the shower lacked water pressure. Overpriced in my view, and they only accept cash payments.

the woman who greeted me and took care of me was amazing and so friendly. the grounds were amazing, huge ponds with giant lily pads. rooms and beds are comfy and spacious enough. scooters available for hire, a few beaches nearby, i didnt really visit them but the scooter gave me freedom to move around abit. there are a few amazing and cheap places to eat nearby on the scooter. washing available and they can help you with taxis to support the local drivers. ac worked well and internet was efficient.

The owner was more then helpful. She organized a bike that i can rent, my transport to the habour and the ferrytickets. I just needet to go to her and ask. Thank you so much.

Everything was good.

The lady at the reception (I thing the owner) was super nice and kind, helpful in every way. She asked if we need do the laundry (which we did), the price was I think 25k Rpi per kilo, they have cold refreshment by the reception. The common area (garden) looks amazing. The room was fine, the owner borrowed us the insect spravy to get rid of any insect or spiders. She advised us some restaurants and even helped us with the transportation (her husbend is a driver).

We had the bad luck of meeting the cocroach in our room and many geckos, but normal thing in Bali. The bathroom could be a bit more clean that it was.

Beautiful house and very kind owners. The beds are huge and we slept very well. Lots of space and also place to sit outside.

Airconditioning gave a bit of a bad smell in the room.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating and the room very clean and komfortabel. The breakfast was okay and the location very quiet. Liked the place a lot! :)

The toilet was just an earth closet and the sink very small without a mirror. It was ok for me but just in case some of you don’t like that. :) There weren’t many restaurants around but if you have a motorcycle you will be fine.

Good location, amazing ambience. Staff very helpful.

Washroom doors were transparent, no ventilation/ exhaust in washroom.
