Friendly staff, room was clean and tidy.

Room was a little small and the shower very small.

Great little stop over for a night. Wonderful room and the pub is a perfect example of what you works expect from an English pub.

The location was excellent for me as I travelled around by bus, and the bus stops were all nearby. The room was comfortable and clean with a lovely view of the countryside.

It was very noisy from the traffic. I asked for a quiet room, not from noise from the pub downstairs but to be as far away from the traffic as possible. I also couldn't open the window. I realize though that being an old building it was probably impossible to double glaze the windows.

We liked the power of the tiny shower. Nice towels. Housekeeping was on top changing daily very good. The welcome from blonde barman was very good. The complimentary soap ect was a nice touch. Close to amenities

The size of the shower. The beds were so tired springs broke, beds sagging, noisy when turned over. Only 1 small window opened. The thing hanging at window masquerading as a curtain. The glare of the street light,all night through the window, due to bad fitting curtains. The windows in room and bathroom were filthy, sticky very poor condition. No privacy when sat on toilet due to bad window. Carpet sticky and looked as though needed a good clean or replacement. . Only 2 plugs in whole room Moved bedside cabinet from double as single bed never had one. One bed had larger base than mattress .
