My stay at 2 Austubrun was magical and complete. Everything I needed was there and I was beyond comfortable. The hosts are responsive to messages. The wifi works well. The entire building is spotless and clean. When I return to Iceland next, I plan to stay at this location. It is on a major bus route and close to many essential amenities within walking distance. The interior is modern and cozy, clean and extremely welcoming. 14/10 stars. Beautiful spot.

Wonderful apartment in a perfect location. Very easy and informative check in. Overall it was clean, well equipped, and our family’s best nights sleep our whole trip in Iceland.

Key was very difficult to work and we thankfully realized the apartment door locks automatically so just be cautious to not get locked out.

Location and view was good

The door keys were problematic with the way they fitted to the door lock and on the second day the water was cold (not hot shower or hot water at the sink).
