Ocean View Riad Jeju

L’endroit est incroyable ! Située juste sur le front de mer la villa est super agréable et très bien équipée. La décoration et la structure de la maison autour de la piscine rendent l’endroit très particulier. La piscine chauffée et bien protégée du vent permet de se baigner même si la température extérieure n’est pas très chaude. Nous avons passé un séjour.inoubliable.

The location of the property is excellent. The villa itself is very well made equipped with heated bed and excellent washrooms. Though it had a heated pool, the temp was still not hot enough to be used in End of May. All in all, we had a good experience. The owner also came immediately when we needed him to.

Though the pool was temp controlled, it was still cold for us to use. And since the pool is open to air, there were tree leaves and some other dirt in the pool which is understandably inevitable. We also lost electricity in one part of the house as the fuse must have tripped, but it was addressed immediately next morning.

A lovely accommodation right in front of the sea. The exterior of the building looks simple, but once you step inside, it is full of art and feels very warm and cozy. The instructions provided for using the accommodation were very detailed and helpful. We arrived earlier than check-in time and we truly appreciate the host for allowing us to store our luggage. Parking was very convenient and breakfast was also provided with bread, jam, and coffee. Overall, it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

Die Lage, der beheizte Pool und die Aussicht aufs Meer. Gute und einfache Anleitung über die Villa. Beim grillen hatten wir Besuch von netten Katzen.

Die Klimaanlage hat leider in einem Teil nicht funktioniert. Die Dachterrasse ist beschädigt und müsste repariert werden.

Das Ocean View Riad sieht von Außen absolut unscheinbar aus, entspricht von Innen aber zu 100% den Bildern. Es gibt zwei separate "Wohneinheiten" mit je Schlafzimmer (je zwei große Betten) und Bad. Ergänzt wird Wohneinheit 1 mit großzügiger Küche, voll ausgestattet, und Essbereich. Wohneinheit 2 verfügt dafür über eine gemütliche Ecke zum TV gucken und entspannen. Die Bäder sind geräumig, aber nur mit Badewanne ausgestattet, damit muss man also klar kommen. Bereit stehen allerlei Pflegeartikel, die bereitgelegten Handtücher können in der vorhandenen Waschmaschine fix gewaschen werden, sowie auch getrocknet. In der Mitte ist ein toller Pool, der für Abkühlung zwischendurch sorgt. Die Unterkunft liegt 5 Minuten fußläufig vom Gwakji Beach entfernt, in unseren Augen der schönste Badestrand auf Jeju. Rund um den Strand gibt es Cafés, Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Wer sich die Umgebung ansehen und die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Insel erkunden möchte liegt mit dem Ocean View Riad zentral genug. Das Auto steht bequem auf dem Parkplatz vor der Haustüre. Man ist zügig auf der Hauptstraße und kommt problemlos in alle Richtungen. Tipp für Geldwechsel: Jeju ist nicht gut ausgestattet was ATM etc. angeht, Bargeld aber ein Muss, da die Kartenlesegeräte für die gängigen Kreditkarte sehr willkürlich mal funktioniert, mal nicht. 8 Autominuten von der Unterkunft befindet sich im Team Blow Café ein Money Exchange, der verschiedenste Währungen in Won wechselt. Man braucht nur seinen Reisepass und die Währung in bar, die gewechselt werden soll.

Die Unterkunft verfügt über eine wunderbare Terasse, die aufgrund des fehlenden Sonnenschutz (Sonnenschirm hatte dem Wind nicht Stand gehalten) tagsüber und auch am frühen Abend nicht genutzt werden kann. Hier wäre eine Alternative, bspw. Sonnensegel echt eine Überlegung wert, da es ein wunderschöner Ort mit toller Aussicht ist!

I’ll never forget my stay at Riad Jeju—it was such an exotic and memorable experience. I traveled with my teenage son, and the property was divided into two separate buildings, allowing each of us to relax in our own beautifully designed space. I was absolutely enchanted by the indoor garden, and I loved all the thoughtfully chosen appliances—especially the charming retro coffee grinder. Waking up to a breathtaking ocean view, surrounded by a quiet village, was pure bliss. Everything about this place was perfectly suited for rest and relaxation.
