The place is nice and cozy. It is superbly located on top of a passing river and thus it's music to the ears and a feast to the eyes. It is also centrally situated right int he middle of the old city. It has basically all the essential amenities that one could ask for. It is very easily accessible from the train station and is surrounded with awesome bars and restaurants.

Well...the shower is a bit of a unique experience! One really has to be careful not to hit one's head with the low lying wooden beam. If it were my property, I would definitely refurbish it to be more accessible.

The location of this apartment is exceptional, right in the heart of the historic center of Chiavenna. You can hear the river below you so peaceful and relaxing. The apartment is well equipped with kitchen, coffee maker, supplies, and all the things you'd need for 1-2 days or longer. The bed also very comfortable.

We missed having a washing machine but there is a self-service laundry within walking distance. We also bumped our heads a couple of times in both the kitchen and bathroom, but that's unavoidable with old attico-type apartments in the region.

The apartment is very good located, right at the old center of Chiavenna. Bar and restaurants are very close but no noise at night, even during the Sagra dei crotti. The view is gorgeous. Sleeping with the sound of the running river is amazing and relaxing. I was worried about the bathroom because of some comments I've read, but I found it very charming and had no problem at all.
